Limited-Radiologic Technologist Student Intern

The Limited Radiologic Technologist Student Intern assists with clinical procedures, performs limited diagnostic imaging, and prepares patients under the direction of a physician and/or APP. The role involves a combination of imaging, documentation, education, and patient care duties.

Requirements

• Must be a current Rad Tech student
• Valid LMRT/LLT certification; current licensure in good standing
• Current BLS Certification
• Adult & Child Mandatory Reporter Certifications
• Completion of Iowa Ortho-mandated education and training programs
• Strong understanding of radiologic technology and orthopedic procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Ability to provide transportation & travel between clinical sites as needed
• Proficiency in EMR systems and ability to accurately document patient care
• Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
• Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure situations
