Medical Coder

The Medical Coder ensures optimum reimbursement for medical services through accurate and timely reporting and posting of all physician and ancillary services.

Requirements

• Medical coding certification from AAPC (CPC-A or CPC) or AHIMA (CCA, CCS-P)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the last 18 months in coding physician services and/or physical therapy (PT/OT) services
• Knowledge of Medicare provider requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office Knowledge including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and OneNote
