Job Description
IP Infusion is seeking a motivated Senior Software Engineer to integrate platform features and contribute to software design, development, and documentation. This role focuses on system and network virtualization, troubleshooting, and working with offshore developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux networking and solid coding skills.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Linux networking and operating systems concepts.
- Solid knowledge and 7+ year experience of IP networking stack in Linux or similar embedded operating systems.
- Strong foundation on Operating Systems concepts such as memory management, IPC, scheduling, task switching etc. and C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Broadcom or Marvell SDK or any contemporary Chipset is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of complex software design for distributed systems in embedded networking/telecommunications projects.
- Experience with design and development of Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS networking control and/or data plane software.
- Experience in designing and developing data plane for Broadcom chipset like Trident/Tomahawk/Qumran etc.
- Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Exposure to OS system calls and kernel APIs will be plus.
