Job Description
IP Pathways is seeking a Senior Systems Implementation Engineer to join its Managed Services – Operations Team. The team is responsible for implementing, onboarding, and migrating clients into IP Pathways’ managed and cloud service platforms. The Senior Systems Implementation Engineer will play a key role in leading implementation, onboarding, and migration projects, taking ownership of ongoing monitoring, management, and administration of client systems and services, and mentoring and guiding other engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in systems administration or implementation engineering
- Proficiency in 1–2 scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365
- Understanding of network fundamentals such as IP addressing, routing, VLANs and DNS
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., VMware, Azure, AWS) and backup/disaster recovery tools (e.g., Acronis, Veeam, Zerto)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote monitoring tools, and managed service delivery environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
