Chief Communications Officer

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is seeking a Chief Communications Officer to lead the organization's efforts to serve the nation's heroes. The Chief Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and establishing the organization's internal and external communication strategy, brand and marketing development, and membership and supporter engagement. The role will involve increasing awareness, developing external communications strategy, brand development, and marketing development, and engaging in customer insight research and membership and supporter engagement.

Requirements

• 5-plus years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization and management
• Demonstrated success in a communications/engagement function
• Bachelor's degree required
