Deli Kitchen Manager

Neroli Mercato, a specialty grocery, wine, sandwich deli, prepared foods and catering shop, is seeking a motivated and experienced Deli Kitchen Manager. The role involves customer service, food knowledge, stocking, slicing, assisting the head chef, overseeing inventory, training associates, and ensuring financial targets are met. Requirements

• Previous deli, kitchen, culinary, retail and/or customer service experience
• Proper handling of knives and other cutting equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Take ownership approach to problem solving
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move and lift objects of at least 40 lbs
• Manage inventory to achieve targeted gross profit margin
• Flexible schedule working nights, weekends and holidays
