Job Description
ISO New England is seeking a talented Energy Market Optimization Engineer to join their Advanced Technology Solutions department. The engineer will conduct research in electricity markets, power system reliability, and optimization techniques, and participate in developing mathematical models and software for power system simulation and grid reliability assessment.
Requirements
- PhD or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Operational Research, Applied Math or Computer Science
- Experience in developing software for wholesale electricity markets
- Knowledge of electricity market operation
- Understanding of power system operations and analysis
