Job Description
We are seeking a Power System R&D Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Solutions group. As a member of the Emerging Technologies team, you will analyze critical issues, identify new opportunities, design and implement advanced technical solutions to strengthen the reliability, resiliency, and efficiency of the New England power grid.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power system stability and control
- Strong background in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Advanced user of commercial tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, DSATools, PowerWorld, etc.
- Hands-on software development experience in Python, Matlab, C#, Java, etc.
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
