Job Description
ISO New England is seeking a Lead Energy Market Analyst to apply expertise in wholesale electricity markets to the critical work of the market monitor, providing valuable insight and performing in-depth empirical analyses on market performance and participant behavior.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Applied Math, or related field, and 5+ years of relevant experience required
- Extensive experience in wholesale electricity markets and the electric industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in applying strong quantitative and data analysis skills to electricity market problems
- Ability to conduct forensic-like investigations of market outcomes and participant behavior
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with others in a team environment
