Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Research Operations and Change Management team in supporting the production of corporate Research. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Requirements

• Manages data retrieval and analysis;
• Translates raw operational data into meaningful visual presentations and dashboards for internal teams and/or external clients;
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data;
• Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data based on trends and patterns relevant to the business or other stakeholders;
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions;
• Monitor performance and data quality control plans to identify improvements;
• Explore large data sets to find usable information;
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings;
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports;
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing files, reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities;
• Understands how and when to make a choice; how and when to escalate issues to higher levels.
• Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions.
• Make decisions and take timely independent action in pursuit of priorities.
