Configuration Technician I

iT1 is looking for a Configuration Technician I to join their team, responsible for setting up and configuring computers and peripherals, diagnosing issues, and performing quality control. The role involves internal and external responsibilities and requires excellent communication skills, a+ certification, and experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.

Requirements

• Imaging laptops and desktops
• Hardware and software installations and configurations
• Troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware and software issues
• Bench testing refurbished devices
• Desktop and Laptop repair
• Server hardware configuration
• Small office installs
• Documentation
• Excellent communication written and verbal skills
• A+ or comparable experience
• Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Working knowledge of common desktop applications
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware
