Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited program in Emergency Medical Services
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year working as a paramedic for a licensed EMS agency preferred
- Current, valid Wyoming EMT-P license
- Current, valid driver's license and eligibility for IMH liability insurance
- Current valid National Registry of Emergency Medical Techs (NREMT) certification
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 60 days of hire
- Current valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire
- Current valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months of hire
- Certification in a de-escalation program as approved by IMH within the first six (6) months of hire
- Current, valid Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator. Emergency Vehicle Operations Course β Ambulance certification within six (6) months of employment
- Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within the first twelve (12) months of hire
