The Assistant Director for Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision, oversight, and leadership for public safety and emergency preparedness for the campus and campus security staff. This includes assisting in the recruitment, selection, retention, and development of PSEP staff, conducting annual evaluations and approving timesheets, and collaborating with Director for PSEP to establish a threat and risk based front-line staffing plan. The Assistant Director will also respond to and assist with all on-campus emergencies, investigate incidents, and assist in building and maintaining relationships with external partners.
