Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Lead

The Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Lead reports to the Executive Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, providing day-to-day supervision and leadership for public safety and emergency preparedness on campus. The Lead works collaboratively with various campus stakeholders to implement emergency management and business continuity plans, plan drills and exercises, and ensure campus compliance with the Clery Act.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience showing a progression of responsibility and supervision, preferably in post-secondary education
• Ability to resolve individual and group conflicts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to partner well with colleagues within and outside the organization
• Ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of students and employees
