Faculty - Building Construction Technology

Faculty member responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in Building Construction Technology, with a focus on residential building lifecycle and carpentry skills. Responsibilities include providing instruction, academic advising, and community service. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to a workplace culture that recognizes and appreciates varied perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.

Requirements

• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree in technology, engineering, engineering technology, or a related field
• Specialized certifications required for the class being taught
• Two years of directly related work experience, or five years with an associate degree and three years of work experience
• National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Instructor certifications
• Experience in residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building & property maintenance
