Part-Time Writing Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled Writing Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical and functional abilities to support the Ivy Tech Indianapolis Writing Center by conducting one-on-one tutoring in-person and virtually with Ivy Tech students and assisting leadership with additional tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in composing rhetorically-savvy texts
• Experience tutoring, teaching, or coaching others through learning and skill development processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think critically, make decisions independently, and solve complex problems in a timely manner
• Proven experience in collaborating effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals
