Job Description
The Heavy Haul Driver is responsible for driving a truck with a capacity of over 3 tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations. Key responsibilities include hauling Class I through Class III materials, loading and unloading the truck, inspecting truck equipment, and maintaining a truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) year certificate from college or technical school
- One year related experience and/or training
- CDL driver's license and clear driving record
- Ability to work effectively with tools and equipment
- Ability to make accurate independent decisions
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
