Automation Technician II - Nights - B Shift

The Automation Technician II – Nights – B Shift is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality during the night shift.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in automation maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and sensors
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI interfaces
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Universal Robots) including programming and maintenance
• Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on a night shift schedule
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the role
