The Automation Technician II β Nights β B Shift is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality during the night shift.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in automation maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and sensors
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI interfaces
- Experience with robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Universal Robots) including programming and maintenance
- Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on a night shift schedule
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the role
