Facilities/Maintenance technicians operates and maintains facilities equipment, troubleshoots utilities equipment, and performs maintenance, operation, and repairs of the physical structure of the establishment and general electrical systems. Plans, coordinates, and inspects maintenance activities, and supports project management for facility-related projects.
Requirements
- Ensures facility maintenance and controlled environmental monitoring activities are complete and on schedule
- Participates in facilities equipment installations as required
- Performs minor building and building system equipment repairs
- Ensures building systems contractors follow EES requirements when on the premises
- Maintains spare parts inventory
- Follows all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area
- Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities
- Follows J&J and EES Records Management Policies
- Conducts predictive maintenance on utility equipment
- Utilizes reliability techniques to execute lubrication work
- Performs alignment and vibration evaluations on equipment's
- Proposes improvements to maintenance strategies based on reliability studies
- Supports Facility Team in performing Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis
- Manages and coordinates plant initiatives with outside vendors
- Organizes and implements facilities projects
- Demonstrates leadership ability to effectively work with team members
