Principal Engineer

As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the architectural design and development of complex engineering solutions and provide technical leadership to junior and senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or principal engineering role
• Demonstrated expertise in complex electronic system design, including circuit design, PCB layout, firmware development, and system integration
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, CAE, simulation tools, PLM systems)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies and components
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and strategic direction
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
• Ability to travel occasionally as required
