Job Description
Join JAC Products as a Manufacturing Engineer to support Business Unit team members in problem solving, Lean and Continuous Improvement activities, and process development. Work on Design for Manufacturability, process improvements, and performance improvements.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of aluminum extrusion, buffing and fabrication tooling and equipment processes.
- Strong technical writing skills for the preparation of quote packages and specifications.
- Strong eye for detail and maintaining exacting standards.
- Effectively work with others, sound verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to provide performance standards, feedback and coaching to teammates and third-party suppliers.
- Knowledgeable of CAD systems/software for product and tool designs.
- Knowledge of fixture design, sensors, PLC and programming, poke yoke and error proofing.
- Experience with APQP, GD&T, automotive quality and appearance standards, and finishing requirements.
- Knowledgeable of raw materials, manufacturing methods and alternatives for improved performance and/or cost.
- Strong communication skills, MS Office skills, organizational and problem solving skills are required
