Job Description
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for providing patient care services including drawing blood and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Training from accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent with certificate of completion
- Clinical experience preferred in phlebotomy/ EKG/ UDS but not required
- Certified by a nationally recognized phlebotomy board or licensed as a laboratory assistant by the state of Louisiana
- Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance is required
- BLS required within 6 months of hire
