Job Description
The job of a Phlebotomist at East Jefferson General Hospital involves performing venipuncture and skin puncture, workload management, specimen pick up and delivery, specimen handling and receipt, and quality assurance related duties. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification, and LSBME Phlebotomist License.
