AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING TECHNICIAN
4 years of education and/or experience, Journeyman Class 'A' HAR Mechanic license, valid driver's license, and City of Jacksonville public driver certification
COMMUNITY SERVICES OFFICER
High school graduate or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and of good moral character
NON-CERTIFIED CORRECTIONS OFFICER RECRUIT
High school graduate, 18 years old, good moral character
CERTIFIED CORRECTIONS OFFICER RECRUIT
High school graduate, no prior experience required
NON-CERTIFIED JUDICIAL RECRUIT
Must be 19+ yrs old, U.S. citizen, pass medical exam and law enforcement cert. Must have valid driver's license and be certified.
SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD (SEASONAL) PART TIME
Good physical condition, positive attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and overall sense of responsibility for safety
AUXILIARY OFFICER
Reserve Police Officers must provide additional resources, perform general law enforcement work, and enforce statutory law and municipal ordinances
CERTIFIED JUDICIAL OFFICER
Must be 19+, no felony/perjury convictions, valid driver's license/certification. Requires passing a background check & medical exam and clear background investigation. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
CERTIFIED POLICE RECRUIT
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
