Job Description
This is a protective service position within the courthouse for judges, attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and prisoners. The role involves maintaining order, handling legal procedures, and interacting with the public, with specific skills required for firearms and law enforcement equipment usage. Work is performed under standard procedures and subject to standard practices.
Requirements
- Must be at least nineteen (19) years of age
- Meet the minimum requirements for a citizen of the United States, not have been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor involving perjury.
- Pass medical examination
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Maintain a valid City of Jacksonville public driver certification
- Pass FLA Law Enforcement Officer Certification
