Job Description
This is a protective service position in providing security and maintaining order within the courthouse for judges, attorneys, witnesses, and prisoners. The role involves knowledge of courtroom security techniques and specialized skills. It requires interaction with people and a willingness to work within established procedures and a willingness to consider diverse perspectives.
Requirements
- Must be at least nineteen years of age.
- Not have been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or a false statement.
- Not have received a dishonorable or undesirable discharge from any of the Armed Forces of the United States.
- Have processed fingerprints on file.
- Pass medical examination.
- Pass background investigation, including polygraph and psychological testing.
