Job Description
Jane Street's internship program offers a real-world experience in a full-time setting. Interns collaborate with full-time employees on real projects, participate in classes and discussions, and access resources to explore their field of interest. As a Windows Engineering intern, you’ll work alongside full-timers to learn how to design, deploy, secure, and maintain automation tools and infrastructure critical to Jane Street's success, utilizing OCaml, F#, and PowerShell. The program seeks intellectually curious individuals who enjoy problem-solving and learning.
Requirements
- A strong programmer who can demonstrate high potential and an aptitude for learning
- Experienced with .NET languages (C# or F#)
- Knowledgeable in operating system fundamentals and computer architecture
- Able to understand network protocols at a basic level
- Familiar with AI/LLMs and prompt engineering
- Intellectually curious, collaborative, and eager to learn
- Humble, unafraid to ask questions, and is able to admit their mistakes
- A strong communicator
- As comfortable at the command line as you are in a GUI
