Data Center Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Engineer to design, build, scale, and perform daily maintenance work in our regional data centers across Asia Pacific. This is a hands-on position that will require a strong communicator with excellent people skills who can manage projects and take ownership of our daily operational tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in a data center environment with strong knowledge of data center best practices and cabling methodology including managing vendors
• Knowledgeable of networking fundamentals, has a basic understanding of switching and routing protocols, and can troubleshoot basic Layer 2 and 3 connectivity issues
• Experienced working in a Linux environment (additional experience scripting in Bash, Python, or OCaml is a plus)
• Has successfully deployed a broad range of server and network hardware (e.g., Dell, Cisco, Arista, Ciena, Corning, Ortronics products)
• Has working knowledge and experience with designing, deploying, testing, and troubleshooting copper fiber cabling
