Jazz Direct is the premier education and training pathway for pilots in Canada. Through Jazz Direct, aviation students are provided with an industry-leading education experience based on collaborative training and curriculum development. Jazz Awards for professionalism are bestowed to two top-performing graduates at each of the Jazz-affiliated aviation colleges and universities for outstanding contributions to safety, leadership and professionalism.
Requirements
- Valid and Current Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical
- Must be able to obtain/maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
- Must hold a current passport at time of hire with (6) months of validity
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident without restrictions
- Must be able to enter the USA without restrictions
- Must meet Transport Canada's English proficiency standard
- Must be licensed by Transport Canada to act as a First Officer on a 705-category aircraft
- Must achieve a minimum of 80% on the written CPL, INRAT, IATRA (SARON / SAMRA)
- Must achieve at or above average ranking on all aviation program academic courses
- Must have no failures on TC flight tests or aviation program check rides
- Must receive a recommendation from faculty
- Demonstrated high level of professionalism
