Job Description
Operations Manager for the transportation arm of JBS Australia, responsible for managing the movement of livestock, refrigerated vans, tippers and tankers across feedlots, abattoirs and cold stores. Must have experience in logistics, supervision or management, and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment
- Must have experience in supervision or management with proven ability to lead, manage and motivate staff
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
- Effective problem-solving skills
