The HR Compliance Manager will work directly with the Head of HR Compliance to develop and implement industry-specific and comprehensive HR compliance policy and programs for the company. This position will assist in evaluating applicable laws and regulations while serving as a business partner to senior leadership to identify, propose, and implement necessary actions to mitigate risk and to prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of current federal, state and local statutes including but not limited to EEOC, affirmative action, FMLA, FLSA and immigration regulations and guidelines.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (highly preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, influence others, mediate through conflict, and take decisive action.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel.
