The Events Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing people together by and through partnerships that create meaningful, engaging, and well-executed events that reflect the heart of our community and the mission of our organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5–7 years of event management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting.
- Proven success managing multiple complex events simultaneously, from conception to completion.
- Experience collaborating with senior leadership, board members, donors, and community partners.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and preferred experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Slack
- Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to represent the organization professionally and warmly.
- Proficiency with event management software, CRM databases (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Office / Google Suite tools.
- Deep alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
