They assess reports of maltreatment, provide support services to families, and coordinate with legal, medical, and community resources to protect children and promote family stability and permanency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university
- Professional, internship, or volunteer work experience in a human-services related agency
- Valid driver's license without any major violations
- No felony conviction for domestic violence, child abuse, or unlawful sexual behavior
- No felony conviction involving physical assault, battery, or drug-related offense within the past five years
- No pattern of misdemeanor convictions within the past 10 years
