The Aircraft Systems Engineer reports to the Manager of Engineering and plays a key role in developing and implementing in-service modifications, repairs and other solutions aimed at enhancing aircraft reliability and achieving operational excellence.
Requirements
- Collaborate with predictive digital technology teams to develop diagnostics and monitoring strategies
- Review and disseminate service bulletins and other data to determine proper course of action
- Enter Engineering Authorizations data into the electronic maintenance tracking program
- Assist with Identification of Intervals and Methods of Airworthiness Directive Compliance
- Design, develop, and test solutions for aircraft systems
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to ensure aircraft safety, performance, and efficiency
- Create and review technical documentation for aircraft systems and structures
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and specialists to optimize aircraft designs
- Complete feasibility studies and prepare technical documents and submittals
- Monitor and maintain aircraft systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for aircraft systems requirements
