The Ground Operations Crew loads and unloads customer bags, operates ground service equipment, and coordinates the servicing of arriving and departing aircraft. The crewmember must be comfortable serving customers, proficient in using computers, and prepared to work outdoors under various weather-related conditions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- One (1) year of customer service or sales experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to work variable hours, flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Ability to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to make occasional trips to other locations for training or temporary assignment
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue Airways insurance standards
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
