The Senior Analyst, Operations Strategy & Air Traffic Management, provides operational support to the JetBlue System Operations Center (SOC) and leverages data, technology, and Air Traffic Management expertise to enhance data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, mathematics, operations research, computer science, engineering, or a related field OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience.
- Three (3) years of analytical experience in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in database querying (e.g., SQL), high-level programming languages (such as Python or R), statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Familiarity with FAA systems (e.g., TFMS, TBFM, TFDM, SWIM) and NAS-wide metrics.
- Familiarity with ATM tools and programs (e.g., Aerobahn, Passur, FSM, ESM, SlickOR, Vianair).
- Experience communicating with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues assertively and tactfully.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Availability for occasional overnight travel (20%).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
