Job Description
The Behavior Specialist will evaluate the intellectual, social and emotional functioning abilities of individuals in the Center's program(s) and develop behavior intervention plans to achieve their highest potential. The Day Habilitation Program aims to instill a sense of work ethic and responsibility, social and civil work amongst the community, and self-care of the mind and body.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in an applied field of psychology (related fields may be considered)
- BCBA preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans for individuals with disabilities and significant problem behavior
- Knowledge of ABA with documented training in assessment techniques and behavior intervention planning
