Join Our Team: Laser Operator Opportunity! The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining flatbed laser cutting machines to cut steel and other metals in accordance with production specifications.

Requirements

• Safely set up, operate, and monitor flatbed laser cutting machines
• Load and unload raw materials, inspecting steel for defects or irregularities prior to processing
• Use appropriate lifting equipment and tools to safely handle and position materials
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules to determine machine settings and cutting specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with safety regulations
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to maximize machine uptime and cutting quality
