Job Description
The Chief Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering team, administering daily operations, and responding to tenant needs. They must be a member of IUOE local #399 and have 5-7 years of JLL engineering experience or equivalent industry experience, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience or experience as a Lead Engineer.
Requirements
- Must be a member of IUOE local #399
- 5-7 years of JLL engineering experience or equivalent industry experience
- 3-5 years supervisory experience or experience as a Lead Engineer
- Thorough knowledge of data center HVAC, electrical, plumbing, automation, and life safety/fire protection systems
- Thorough understanding of all data center related codes and standards
- Ability to professionally interact with tenants and contractors
- Moderate knowledge of a variety of manual trades such as carpentry, electromechanical repair, etc.
