The Data Center Break/Fix Lead Technician oversees hardware repair and troubleshooting operations within a mission-critical data center environment, providing technical expertise and ensuring SLA compliance.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center hardware repair and troubleshooting operations
- Advanced knowledge of server, networking, and storage hardware from major OEMs (Dell, HPE, Cisco, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience mentoring technical teams and managing escalation processes in mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks, change management processes, and SLA compliance requirements
- Ability to work in 24/7 operational environment including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
