The General Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in supporting facility operations within a GMP-regulated R&D pharmaceutical environment. This position ensures that cleanrooms, laboratories, office areas, and critical mechanical systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of facility maintenance experience with demonstrated competency across multiple building trades.
- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance tasks including oil changes, greasing, belt replacement, and pump servicing.
- Strong working knowledge of general building trades including painting, carpentry, basic flooring installation and repair, and masonry work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, technical schematics, and maintenance schedules.
- Physical capability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., work in elevated or confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring kneeling and extended physical effort.
