Operating Building Engineer

Operating Building Engineer at JLL, ensuring seamless operation of complex building systems in a critical facility environment. Analyze system operations, determine root cause of problems, and take immediate corrective action. Monitor and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning equipment, boilers, ventilating systems, and hot water heaters. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma, state equivalent, or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in building operations and maintenance with strong HVAC knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to analyze system operations, troubleshoot problems, and determine corrective actions independently
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, local building codes, and safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
• Familiarity with computer equipment and programs for documentation and system monitoring
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation systems (BAS)
