Operating Engineer

As an Operating Engineer at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of facility systems. This role emphasizes technical expertise in one area—such as Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations—while also requiring broad multi-skill proficiency to efficiently resolve issues and support the facility’s smooth operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and correct operational issues in various facility systems.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and technical repair practices.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to hazardous materials.
• Ability to read equipment readings and perform necessary system adjustments.
