Job Description
The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. The role involves completing assigned tasks, maintaining work order systems, performing preventive maintenance and inspection tasks, and troubleshooting building systems. On-site presence is required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
- Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
- Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
- Strong customer service skills
