Operating Engineer

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to join the Facility Maintenance & Operations Team. The Operating Engineer will be responsible for the operations & maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment. This includes routine and emergency plant operations, maintenance, and repair work in relation to the installation, maintenance, and repairs of boilers, HVAC equipment, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and building equipment. The position requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, automation, system controls, HVAC/R, chillers, and boilers. The estimated compensation for this position is $64,000 - $70,000 per year. The position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, automation, system controls, HVAC/R, chillers, and boilers
• Proficient computer skills
• General knowledge of industry maintenance and repair practices
• Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision
• Valid driver's license
