Job Description
The Property Accounting Manager is responsible for leading financial oversight for a portfolio of retail properties, ensuring exceptional accuracy and client service in all financial reporting. This role combines technical accounting expertise with team leadership, guiding property teams through complex financial processes and serving as the primary liaison for client accounting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4-6 years of public and/or private accounting experience, with real estate accounting experience strongly preferred
- Proven supervisory experience managing accounting staff and processes
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly advanced Excel functions and financial modeling
