Requirements

• Plan, lay out, and construct a variety of intricate, highly specialized tools, fixtures, jigs, dies, and gauges requiring high quality workmanship, holding extremely close tolerances.
• Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Perform layout work which requires use of advanced mathematical procedures.
• Repair tools, fixtures, jigs, dies, or gauges.
• Use standard toolmaker’s tools, precision measuring instruments, gauge blocks, calipers, protractors, indicators, micrometers, and other various hand and power tools.
• Assist and support other team members and work with minimal supervision.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
