Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (DB2 for z/OS DBA) to join our team in Indaiatuba/SP, Brasil. The ideal candidate will have experience with DB2, mainframe technology, and hybrid cloud integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields
- Advanced English
- Strong experience analyzing and translating business requirements into database and mainframe technical solutions
- Solid experience with DB2 (preferably DB2 for z/OS), including administration, performance tuning, and SQL optimization
- Strong mastery of SQL tuning and performance optimization
- Experience working in mission-critical, high-availability environments
- Understanding of application development environments, data management, and infrastructure constraints in enterprise systems
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor teams
- Experience with AWS (compute, security, storage, etc.) and hybrid cloud integration is important
