Weld Engineering Development Program 2026a

The Weld Engineering Development Program offers 116249 places over two years to recent engineering graduates in a newly operational John Deere factory. Rotations involve joining Weld of Phosphorus Manufacturing Engineering, Fabrication OFP Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Engineering and Fabrication, or Weld PDP – all at John Deere locations in the Midwest. The program focuses on learning and executing weld processes in various stages of manufacturing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Welding Engineering or related Engineering degree
• Expected graduation date of December 2025 through August 2026
• Previous intern or co-op experience in weld engineering
• Knowledge of problem solving and working in a team environment
