The Control Valve Repair Technician - Level 1 is responsible for performing disassembly and assembly of new control valves, evaluating parts, maintaining material awareness, and completing quality control sheets. They must also safely and accurately perform machining processes, assemble control valves, install stem packing, and test control valves according to applicable Code test requirements. Additionally, they will perform disassembly and assembly of new regulators and relief valves, safely and accurately test all regulators and relief valves, and set regulators and relief valves to desired set points. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, good ethics, values, and integrity, and professional appearance and actions. The position has three levels, with progression depending on specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
